How to Play

If you've played the original, you'll feel right at home, but Age of War 2 is easy for new commanders to learn as well.

• Controls: Simple and Intuitive

  The game is controlled entirely with your left mouse button (on PC) or by touch (on mobile). The toolbar at the top of the screen contains all your options for training units, building turrets, evolving, and using special attacks. Simply click or tap on what you want to build!

• The Objective: Annihilate the Enemy Base Your goal is twofold: you must defend your base on the left from the enemy's onslaught while simultaneously building an army powerful enough to march across the battlefield and destroy their base on the right. It’s a delicate balance of offense and defense.
• Earning Resources: Money and XP. Every time you defeat an enemy unit, you are rewarded with money and Experience Points (XP). Money is used to buy soldiers and turrets in your current age, while XP is saved up to unlock your evolution to the next age.
• The Gameplay Loop: The Cycle of War. The addictive core of the game remains. You'll Fight to Earn resources. You'll use these resources to Upgrade your army and defenses. Your goal is not to win in the Stone Age; it is simply to *survive* long enough to evolve.
